1. Basic shape of last head

The basic shape of the last part generally includes:
(1) Round head: thick and round in shape
(2) Small round head: slightly circular, slightly smaller than the round head, also known as medium round head.
(3) Sharp tip: A slender and pointed head shape.
(4) Large square head: A square last, with two styles on the last surface: ribbed and nonribbed.
(5) Small square head: The square angle and head shape are relatively small, and the last surface has two styles: ribbed and nonribbed.
(6) Skew head: The head shape tilts outward.
(7) Off-center: The end of the last is relatively flat, with a distinction between square and circular shapes.
(8) Round groove shape: The head shape is round and high, and the front end of the last is pushed forward.
Precautions for calculation; The design of jogging shoes and the protection of the heel are several aspects.

2. Line processing of last:
(1) Square head: The characteristic of the head style is square and straight, so the contour lines of the components should be straighter near the front end of the shoe last. For example, the toe line of the shoe upper style, the contour line of the mouth door, and the contour line of the front upper cover are generally processed with straight lines, which is more ideal.

(2) Round toe: The shape of this shoe last style is arc-shaped, and the design requires that the contour lines of the front upper components should be based on arc-shaped lines. For larger curved head styles, the metatarsophalangeal area and last surface are relatively flat, so the contour lines of the components near this area can use straight lines, which will give a full and beautiful appearance.

(3) Sharp tip: This last style has both round and straight shapes. The contour line of the front part should be straight in the longitudinal direction and round in the transverse direction, striving to highlight the "pointed" feature as much as possible.

(4) Flat head: This type of last's head style is named after its flatness and thinness. The contour lines of the front part of this last should be straight and square in appearance.

(5) Round edge: The head style of this shoe last is high and round, so when processing the contour of the upper components, more circular arc lines should be used to match.
