The production process of casual shoes is roughly the same as that of leather shoes. The following is a brief introduction to the upper production process and upper sole combination process.
1. Noodle production process
The upper production process includes the cutting of upper parts and the upper. Through these two processes, the sports shoe patterns and samples are turned into upper components, and finally a curved upper is formed.
01 Cutting
Cutting is the first process in the production of casual shoes. It is a process of converting part paper templates into upper parts.
The cutting workshop can start cutting work after receiving the production notice and confirming the materials and quantities. Cutting is mainly done using cutting machines. The parts cut by the cutting machine not only have small errors, but also have neat and beautiful appearance. More importantly, it can improve labor efficiency, which is not available in manual cutting. When using machine cutting, attention should be paid to the marking of the material and the confirmation of the die.
02 Stitch the upper
The upper is another important process after cutting. The various upper parts produced in the cutting process are arranged in a certain way and finally form a complete upper through the upper process. Before the car upper work is carried out, a series of processing of the upper parts should be carried out, such as sheeting, printing, lamination, etc.
The main machine equipment used in lathe work is the sewing machine. High-head sewing machines are often used in footwear production. Different sports shoes have different requirements for upper surface stitching. Before starting the upper work, you must first clarify the margin and stitch length of the stitching.
2. Combination process of top and bottom
There are mainly five different methods of upper and sole bonding processes in footwear production, including gluing process, vulcanization process, seam process, injection process and molding process. The most commonly used upper and sole bonding processes in the production of casual shoes are gluing process, vulcanization process and injection process.
01 Cemented Shoes
Most sports shoes use this combination of upper and sole. When using this process, you must first determine and draw the glue line on the upper surface to prevent the glue surface from being higher than the bottom wall or uneven glue application. Secondly, corresponding adhesives and treatments must be selected for different upper materials and outsole materials.
02 Vulcanized Shoes
When producing mid-to-low-end sports shoe products, the vulcanization process can be used to achieve the purpose of combining uppers and soles. Sports shoes with canvas surfaces and casual sports shoes with synthetic leather mostly use this process. Vulcanization is the process of heating the raw rubber block and changing its properties, finally shaping it and bonding it with the upper surface. Vulcanization can be divided into single vulcanization and multiple vulcanization. Of course, the number of vulcanizations also has a great relationship with the texture of the outsole after it is formed.
03 Injection Shoes
The injection process mainly uses molds and injection machines to produce one-time molded casual shoe products. The materials of the upper and the bottom of this product are the same. To be more precise, the upper and the bottom are a whole. As design styles change.
