Orders Rush Around the Chinese Spring Festival

For spring festival, starting from the 9th of February 2024, shoe factories typically close about 10 to 15 days before(close about Jan. 26- Jan 30),

while material suppliers, packaging providers, accessory suppliers, and supporting services such as stitching and printing usually cease operations 20 to 25 days prior (close about Jan.16 to Jan. 20).

These facilities and services are expected to resume operations gradually after the 24th of February (open again after Feb 24th).

This means, if you order does not catch the January delivery, the delay will be at least more than 1 month. 

To navigate this period effectively, seasoned buyers often initiate their orders as early as October, and some even as far back as July or August. This early planning allows sufficient lead time before the Chinese New Year shutdown.

So, factories experience an intense surge in demand towards the year-end, with buyers ensuring January delivery, or shipment immediately after the holiday, making it challenging to accommodate all orders before the festival.

Acctually order may not be able to be produced immediately after the holiday. 

when factories resume work on Feb 24th, workers come back to the factory area from their villeage gradually, not all together to catch the factories' working time. 

So the output of each factory is not as much as the end of last year. And for orders that have not caught the delivery before the holiday, are in queue to be produced. 

It means it is still the business time for factories in March and April. Some orders placed before the holiday, are to be delivered in May
